Come Taste the Authentic Flavors of Italy with Tutto Food Education Tour

Tutto Food Education Tour is traveling from Italy to help U.S. consumers better understand and appreciate authentic Italian foods. CambridgeSIde Galleria is one of only three U.S. stops on this tour. In addition to the Tutto Food Education Tour there will also be featured tastings with a few other Italian brands at CambridgeSide Galleria on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 in conjunction with the Tutto Food Education Tour. The North End Market Tour and the North End’s Salumeria Italiano will offer balsamic vinegar tastings to explain why genuine balsamic vinegar is never used in cooking or salads. Michele Topor, owner, North End Market Tour will also offer information about the best places in the North End to find authentic Italian foods.
The North End Market Tour conveys not only the secrets of the high quality ingredients in Italian cuisine but also the sense of regional tradition, the healthfulness of the diet, and that Italian love of life.
In addition, Boisset Family Estates will do an Italian wine tasting with Batasiolo Northern Italian wines, including Gavi di Gavi, Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera Sovrana, Barbaresco and Barolo on Saturday, January 16th from 2 to 6 p.m. And from 3 to 5 p.m., Boston’s Bina Alimentari, a European-style shop offering European goods, house-made breads and pastries, gelati, pastas, and prepared meals, will sample some of the finest authentic Italian foods available.
