Flirt Sushi Lounge offers up some of the best rolls in Boston

You might think your reading excerpts from Penthouse Forum but its actually an order placed recently at Flirt Sushi on Broad Street while sampling their delicious menu in preparation for this story. It refers to....”Mi-so Horny” soup and a few of this trendy new sushi bar’s most popular delicious rolls. Ordering is great FUN but the real treat is rolled up and presented cleverly in varying shapes and sizes.

With intimate number of  tables, Flirt is  perfect for parties of two. With a large picture window and  four seats at the bar area, this small restaurant is the perfect for a romantic date. “We get a lot of couples that come here and head next door after dinner to ‘The Place’ for a night of fun,” says Brian, the GM of Flirt Sushi Lounge. Music such as the Gypsy Kings drift through the air as a single candlelight adorns tables adding to the aura of the dimly lit space.  
A glance at the menu leads  you to the Nibbles section. The “Bed for Two” is a wonderful treat of rice, salmon, avocado, and tuna layered between sheets of rice and topped off with a wasabi sauce infused with a bit of honey and caviar. Also quite popular on the list is the “Salmon Tower” and the “Tuna Tower” consisting of spicy tuna affixed on top of tortilla chips. It’s soooo yummy!
The Funky Flirt Rolls are the signature rolls of the restaurant each featuring 2-3 types of fish. Brian notes “we are different from most of the other sushi restaurants because our rolls are bigger than the norm,”  “and the menu is a south American and Asian combination.” Hence, the name “Latin Lover” , a smooth concoction of tuna and yellow tail fish, avocado and for an unexpected surprise, mango. This roll is sure to excite the palette as well as stimulate the senses. If you’re feeling adventurous, the Pink Pussy Cat is one hell of a roll featuring Eel, cashew nuts, spicy crab and avocado all wrapped up in a light pink soy paper. If you can’t decide what to order, the “Sashimi Orgy” is a sure bet to try a little bit of everything hand prepared especially for two. A few select wines, beer and sake served cold or hot are available.
Flirt Sushi Lounge offers some of the best sushi, nigiri and sashimi found in Boston. With a motto of “We like it Raw,” have some fun and enjoy your visit to Flirt but don’t get carried away because the uniquely infused sushi rolls prepared here are “Oh my god” good and finishing with a “Climax” just might not refer to the food.
