And this year, a hot trend for the spring 2012 season involves bright candy-like pastel colors. Vibrant pastel clothing is dominant on runways this spring season; and top-designers like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Marc Jacobs feature the pretty pastels in their 2012 spring collections.
The trend has been around for a while, and it’s back and better then ever for this upcoming spring season.
There’s a wide range of pastel colors to choose from: soft pinks, pale yellows, mint greens, lavender, and icy blue. These dainty sorbet colors will be sure to add a sweet feminine touch to your spring wardrobe; and there’s so many different ways it can be worn. If you want to incorporate pastels into your casual every-day wardrobe, try on some pastel colored pants with a basic white top and cream jacket. Or, jazz up your outfit with a peach pastel colored accessory; like a bag or belt. You can take this pretty trend out with you at night too- celebrities have been spotted wearing the pastel trend with a vava- voom factor on the red carpet.
